Our Clients and Teams Shine Across the State

2023 HIA-CSR Regional Housing Awards

Friday 15 September 2023

When our homes win awards, it rewards not just us, but also our clients.

Because when you are choosing a builder for a new home, it’s important to have access to a dedicated team focused on delivering high-quality design, construction, and exceptional customer service. Our growing number of awards are a testament to The Rural Building Co.’s unwavering dedication to quality, innovation, and superior client satisfaction.

We recently added to our award success with several client homes winning awards at the 2023 HIA-CSR Regional Housing Awards.

The awards are designed to celebrate the best homes in the State’s Mid-West, South-West and Great Southern Regions. And with a number of our designs and client homes winning awards in multiple categories we feel proud to be offering a rural experience when it comes to building your dream home.

Because, we understand you need a builder that gets country living. Our clients all experience the rural difference when building with us.

The range of awards collected this weekend confirms that we build quality homes from the Mid-West through to the Great Southern, the Avon region and everywhere in between.

You’ll notice it in our designs, our building techniques and the materials we use. And you’ll certainly see it in the way we treat our clients and the environment.

Award winning designs

Along with wins for all our brands across the JWH Group, The Rural Building Co. took home numerous top awards including:

The Great Southern Home of the Year – Hay

Golden Key – Best Display – The Daintree Retreat

Finalist for Project Home Over $500,000 – Yarloop

Finalist for Project Home Over $500,000 – Hidden Valley

Among all the designs and awards, our display home The Daintree Retreat is a standout example. The fresh rural design of this contemporary retreat this year has won both the HIA Golden Key Award for South West Display Home of the Year and the MBA Display of the Year making is the Best Display Home in the South West.

Special mentions must also go to Yallingup Sliding winning for its modern rural hideaway vibes, and Hay, catching the hearts of the judges with its impressive soaring ceilings and a double-sided fireplace for cosy nights making it an ideal rural hideaway.

General Manager Tony Harvie expressed his gratitude for the recognition and the dedication of the company’s talented team.

“We are humbled and honoured by this recognition. It reflects our ongoing commitment to pushing the envelope in home design and our unwavering dedication to our clients. We take pride in not just building houses, but in creating homes that people love and cherish.”
