Tingle View, a project by The Rural Building Company in Western Australia, is as timelessly elegant as it is inviting. Housing takes a deep dive into 2024’s winning HIA Australian Project Home. The Yalyalup Retreat opens into an expansive living area. Dramatic raking ceilings lined in natural timber boards soar overhead, while a broad expanse of glazing, paired with a high raking window above, floods the space with light and strengthens the connection to the outdoors.
This space is designed to frame views and draw the surrounding environment into everyday living.

With a farmhouse aesthetic and a genuine connection to the surrounding landscape, The Yalyalup Retreat offers that true Rural Building Co. experience in a more urban setting. The expansive living areas flow effortlessly to the alfresco, which feels like a sanctuary.
To achieve that seamless indoor-outdoor feel, we used @brickworksbp Coogee Graphite for the alfresco paving.
