Bletchley Loft draws inspiration from Angelina Jolie’s childhood home

Actress Angelina Jolie’s home is currently listed for $2.049 million, according to real-estate agent Richard Ellis of Ellis Sotheby’s International Realty.

The mid century home was built in the 1950’s and measures about 4,000 square feet and sits on roughly 2 acres of land in Upstate New York.

The home design includes a number of features similar to the design of our home The Bletchley Loft including a modern exterior showcasing the harmonious relationship that can be achieved using a mixture of materials and finishes, including carved in-stone features, dark-stained timbers, and texture-coated rendered external walls.

The homes features large barn-sized living areas with vaulted ceilings that seamlessly connects the kitchen, dining and lounge areas.  The full length windows in the home are designed to encapsulate the blocks surrounding views from all living areas of the home including the kitchen.

The upper level of the homes feature a secluded master retreat overlooks the voluminous living space below through full-height glass and boasts views out of the highlight windows.
