The Franklin Farmhouse, pictured here, is a fine example. Wide and handsome, in traditional Australian farmhouse style, The Franklin Farmhouse features a shady verandah that stretches from the carport along the length of the home, interrupted only by the porticocovered entrance.

Step inside and you find a hallway with a formal lounge room off to the right. To the rear of the home is a huge, freeform living area with raked ceiling. This open space, which includes a well-appointed kitchen, separates the home into two distinct wings. To the right is a very private master suite with walk-in robe and an ensuite.

To the left of the central core you’ll find three more bedrooms, each with built-in robes, an activity room, the second bathroom and a utility room.
