We love a good challenge and every now and again, we’ll meet a client who gives us something that truly tests us. The block in the hills had the slab already poured – bought off a couple who decided to stop the project at slab stage, the client picked up the block for a bargain price. The only glitch was that the home they wanted needed to conform to the slab. No easy feat as the plumbing and sewerage was already set in the slab.
With views through the bush, the home had to sit amongst the trees and conform to the landscape, not impose itself. With large master bedroom and comfortable free form living, we are proud to say that only two cuts needed to be made through the slab for plumbing and the owners were truly rapt with the design.
